Obituary for Annie Bell Woods (Greer)

Annie Bell Greer Woods, age 65, of Lenoir passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2017, at Caldwell Memorial Hospital in Lenoir. She was born October 18, 1952 and was the daughter of the late William Greer and Vester Rae Miller Greer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Wayne Woods and two sisters, Alice Day and V.C. Greer.

Mrs. Woods was a homemaker who enjoyed working in flowers, doing puzzles and cooking for family. She was a member of Yadkin Valley Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, William Eric Woods (Tammy) of Marion, Clay Wayne Woods of Lenoir; a daughter, Dorothy Emmy Woods of Morganton; brothers, Harold Greer and David Greer both of Lenoir and a sister Elizabeth Shew of Florida. Also left to cherish her memory are seven grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Mackie Funeral Home.

A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Woods Family Cemetery in Darby officiated by Rev. Bobbie Pritchard.
